this month of dec.. 2011.. is a very quiet and yet expensive.. orthotic, reading glasses, an.fee vis,da's car, food.. etc.. chafing dish, chris. presents.. my car maintenance we are not busy. no x/mas decor.. met kat for breakfast.
next year off to florida.. 35th anniversaire..down food at old mills.. not too satisfactory, but, with lobster.. tasteless, more seafoods. happy season, gay time.. most wonderful of the year.
time to love ...more.. i wonder?? connect?? disconnect. well, that's happening long time ago.
spring fields are now cleared. waiting for planting season. meanwhile, my carving class will soon start.
mr flame bought a carving book. ridiculously nice, more christmas music..at 98.1 chfi.
christmas day, mr flam and i will reaching for the tree of life. where love is glee..

my birth
today, this week , has been quite exciting. the HFC group went out for a dim sum, chinese food , downtown toronto. i prepaRE THE DIM SUM HERE IN MISSISS.. my health is questionable.. now, bs.. uricase, chol. as always. i will see dr. pilarski on dec. 9..

after 2011 holiday
hello !1 back to rainy toronto. doing laundry, putting luggages away, settling -in , and receiving too many computerized phone calls.
our holiday started 0oct4.. midnight trip by via rail. received our berth, time to dine-in, and our beds are ready. wandered around the train before heading to our rocky beds. dave on top bunk and i am lower. no hidden agenda here. breakdast in the morning bet. 630-830. met our neighbors, john and margaret from abbotsford b.c. we overslept a bit the first day, so our beds were not made-up. the food in this trip is always presentable, edible and first class. dining in fine linens and silver cutleries, not like those cutleries, so sharp, thin, and grayish black. my paranoia actually. during dinner we met gray hair couples like us. most of the passengers are older- seniors folks. very few young people and children. since this trip can be expensive if one purchse the real cost and price of trip.
it took me almost a month to get back to this vacation story, but, it is worth telling.. oct 31/11
in the train we have plenty of time to relax, mingle, chi-chat, view the sceneries, eat and play games. our first 2 days of travel was rocky, like sleeping in a watery waterbed. the train is trying to make -up for lost time. very rocky. wakes me up , then fall asleep again. we stopped, stopped, and roll-on again. 2nights to leave ontario. the landscape here is mostly tectonic rocks, few towns , trees pine trees and tamaracks??? a combination of yellow and green pinetrees.
by day 2 we arrived in winnipeg, 4 hrs. late. or 2 hrs. i think. i was told we were travelling at a top speed of 115 km. /hr. a normal speed is 90km/hr,.. that is why it was so rocky last night.. noisy too.
i reminded dave to be back to the train by 11am. the train leaves at 1130pm. yes we have time to visit THE FORKS in winnipeg. i changed watch again.. look i have 2 hrs to check-out the FORKS.. great shopping location, even saw JIM COADY of the blue rodeo. bamboo clothings, but, too expensive. still walking around, come across this crystal place.. i spent money. bought 3 crystal necklaces , a crystal piece to hang in my window. oh!!! then i came across this bakery, they are serving and selling pies... pumpkin and other speciality.. paid for 2 pies.. 50+ , i have to pay for the pie plate as well, 5 $ deposit. now when will i return the pie plates?? however, the pumpkin pie is not ready for another 20 min. i looked at my watch and i say plenty of time only 1020am.
i wandered around again, .. at 1045am i was waiting and talking to other customers waiting for their pumpkin pies, . the lady with a baby stroller asked me how am i leaving winnipeg, by train i said.. what time? 1130 , i replied, 1130 midnight? no i said 1130 this morning.. then she pointed to me the large wall clock hanging in the bakery wall.. it was 1145 ALREADY... i panicked, i asked the sellers to give me my pies, late or whatever, i have to have my pies.. fortunately, the pumpkin just finished baking and she immediately put the pie in the box without taping the box.. i have pies in my arm, everybody was looking at me, i think.. run to the exit, but, i can only move so much, luckily the train is only 2 minutes away from the FORKS. immediately i can see the train is still in the station, am i seeing the same train???
i run to check-in desk inside the station, and asked the receptionist whether the train is still in the platform.. she phoned, only a few seconds to find the answer but, it feLt forever... she replied, YES..
i rushed walking towards the platform as she pointed to me the way upstairs. when i reach the top, i immediately saw dave talking to a young men.. he doesn\t seem to be worried. so he says, what happen?? i explained that i changed watch , and the time in my watch is CANMORE TIME, 2 hours behind toronto , and 1 hour behind winnipeg.. can you believe that??? it would be a money disaster had i missed the train . the train didn't leave for another hour.. but, lesson learned.. double check and synchonized watches. GOOD LORD .. IT WAS A BLESSED DAY!dave was ready to leave the train and wait for me.. so we can take the bus. catch the train in edmonton.. holymolly..

the next few days is un eventful.. stopped in jasper, beautiful canadian rockies in our view for at least 4 hrs. then sunset. bought my purple SUGELITE ring, a stone from brazil. finally, vancouver. early morning.. 0950. train arrived on time. took a taxi, only 25 $.
dave's mom was a little bit lost when we arrived. everything has to be stored in the cabinet.. no luggages in sight. the next day was dave's birthday party.. roast beef, the english puff pastry, a birthday cake, sitdown lunch with susan, rebekah, cody, ashley and the other daughter of cody.

rainy days coming up, tuesday, on dave's birthday, we walked and cross the bridge LION'S GATE into stanley park.we the spend the whole day visiting the aquarium and walking back home to his mom's place. rainy, wet, windy, loud car noises, .. the highway is constantly wheezing with cars.. the aquarium by the way is too samll for the size of the whales, and dolphins. not too impressive... the building is old and needed makeover. however, we also watch 4D.. yes, the chair moves, water sprinkling in our faces. don't forget the miniature train in burnaby,b.c. wet and cool that day..
time to leave vancouver for tofino... took a taxi to greyhound station because we have to leave at 500am in the morning... left vanc. at 715... boarded the ferry at ??? horseshoe bay.. forget the place, then to pt. alberni. arrived midday , met glen and brett at panago. indian pizza.. good and tasty..
drove anne's van to tofino. very thick forest here, the foliage is richer.. rocks are not visible. clear river banks, small water falls.. arrived i tofino and checked himwitsa hotel.. huged room. comfortable. to be continued

holiday in alberta
somehow my story about our visit in alberta got lost, went into spam... sept 15-20.. we stayed in edmonton.. a hottel with kitchenette and rented a car. very convenient when driving around , visiting 2 separate places. a revelation about getting old.. changes, pain, living longer in our limited time on earth. visited uncle chuck and harold in calgary. had swiss chalet for lunch.
headed to canmore.. some seniors moment here.. time lapsed. we were delayed one day unexpectedly. irene was so worried.. gone hiking for 2 days, johnson cannon and grassi lake. easy hiking really. now we are back .. till oct 4 again.

sept.8/11 tiff 10th anniversary
today we visited the funeral parlour. a HFC vol. passed away.. anna lashley. 59 yrs. old with 3 grown-up boys. stomach cancer. it was hard for me to visit her in the hospital, since, i am not fully acquianted with her. i am wrong , but, deep in my heart, i feel that i should not be a witness to her already deteriorating life. her diagnosis came ..6 mths ago.
and now she is gone.
dave and i are travelling to edmonton, on sept 15, then to visit irene and family on the 20th. canmore is our destination. very excited to see alberta again..banff, lake louise and the mts... magnificent.
meeting on saturday, promoting the disco party, a dinner with jo ann friday , to meet her fiance and the rest of the hfc vol.
i am feeling lazy these days. nursing a sore muscle due to too much swimming. summer is almost over. the w eather is beginning to cool-down . very pleasant indeed. brilliant!!!I must start taking photos again.. cne time .. come and goes.

jul12 after sandbanks
well now, it is hot hot hot..can't complain. and i am now colour chocolate brown. been to sandbanks for 4 days. met irene and family, had asimple dinner overlooking the lake. the camping was a success. swimming, fishing little minnows, and more swimming. my camping gears are all ste and ready. so it is easier to pack and prepare for camping. must go out in the fall.
fortunately, my skin is not reacting from the sun. my disco ball is dancing as well as the rainbow glass. LG..DWW is even better. planning a holiday in switz. perhaps next year. stay and rent the "house" besides luca. travel to montreux and around switz.

what to say.. this week is going to be busy. my dental appt. with p. harrison, michener, gallery opening. canada day 8 hrs shift, then 2 days weekend vol.
life goes on. very very comfortable at home mr. flamingo says.. what to do?? disco ball spinning, rainbow lights shining brilliantly .. dancing stars overwelhm me. not too much household activities. i feel sad at times because i can't go for big holiday like i use to. perhaps next year. must find a place this winter to go naturing..

iwanted to write about why i volunteer..soon
after 2 weeks, visitors , had left. i am slowly getting back to norm/\. did my stair exercise. gosh, i am not fanting, non-stop.. first time. does it mean my hear is getting better//\\.. ////?? vancouver lost in the hockey game last night. stanley cups final. last game wed.. bettter get ready.. i wanted to go to pub and enjoy the noise.
i left my comfort zone, i am now re-invited as a guest with the mich. alumni assn. remember to bring ideas.
vol. at hfc is becoming more comlicated. new responsibilities. i, being the chair of the rec com. i organized venues for the vols. making memories night, dance workshop and disco revival under the global starlight.
tomorrow i will meet patrick. dtech. .. now that dr. bleeman removed my last tooth, he is going to rebuild my bridge.

two days after.... after one month of visitors, i am just recovering from major changes ... room, clean-up, gardening.. pretty hectic and expensive. is it all worth it?

after the climb cn tower
april showers, bring joy and wonder forever. april 15.. vol. recognition party.. mexican theme, lively, a short acquiantance tiny moments. followed by early morning wake-up call. cn tower climb day. rainy, cool, kipling to jane subway line was close. shuttle buses were very efficient. nonstop, trip. when i arrived to register it was already 745 am. my little breakfast from mcdonald was good, eggmcmuffin... better than sausageeggmcmuffin. long line-up to register, line-up to reach the base of the tower, metal detectors before going inside the tower, no cell phones or else you are send back to were you started.
finally by 825am we started the ascend.. 11 steps per stair case. i was climbing easy, no rush, no pain, no grasping for breathe.. just easy walk upstairs. took 44.21 sec.. long time but, very relaxing. no rushing to beat any short term goal of hurrying to the top.
it was raining hard when i left the base of the tower, soaking wet. got some goodies, tshirt, free readmission to tower and lookout. still early so i decided to walk towards eaton centre. i can't walk to st. lawrence market, cuz, it was still raining hard and i don't have an umbrella.
the day before, i have to pay income tax >600 and dave >300. april 15
bought a new tv 32 SONY.
finally by 825am we started the ascend.. 11 steps per stair case. i was climbing easy, no rush, no pain, no grasping for breathe.. just easy walk upstairs. took 44.21 sec.. long time but, very relaxing. no rushing to beat any short term goal of hurrying to the top.

eat,sleep as much as we can. we can sleep anytime cuz we got the time.
cough for the last 2 weeks, acquired from dave. it is now slowly disappearing. hard on the head. can't

allergy almost over..
after march break, my allergy is not getting better. so lucky i found the prescription of dr. pilarski,.. went for a walk to square one, (fri, ) monday long walk with susie to sherway. transfered 1 k from monthly income.. doing well ..
i started reactine and ointment monday marc 21.. looking good, no more itched and very little skin itchiness.

after the allergy
i visited dr. pilarski.. told her i had allergic contact dermatitis. didn't check me too much, just looked at my skin redness, then prescribes cream. didn't buy the cream... walked home... i have to rewashed most of my clothings, socks, linens. i am allergic to sunlight concentrated detergent.. today i have to go to loblaws and buy "gain" i hope this will work. feeling blah.. my bp is high in am, but, after climbing the stairs it is back to normal.. 120... wow.. must exercise everyday. better in the afternoon, even three flights a day. dave was upset with his new group... well, learn to play their games.. bday of marilu sunday.. i have a meeting today at hbfc, then tomorrow at power plant. life is good.. better be.. i have it easy..

wed... still with allergy my skin allergy is constantly itching.. one day it is healed , next day, icthy again. . no more watery eyes. made appt. for with dr. flora (eye) jun2 1245. picked-up my prescriptions at st. joe's. good for 3 months.. we watched amre. idol last night, the boys are impressive. the oscar last sunday was sososo. j.franco was a bore.. hardly showed any enthusiasm, a.hathaway was entertaining and a good host.

facial allergy.. i didn't realized it but i am doing really bad treatment to my skin dryness.. using olive oil in my face with ground lavender. really bad reactions.
reading news today was very educational.. peter munk.. fouder of barrick gold, ,,, life is about integrity, not compromising your values, that it's about the contribution you make,
and not what you take out..
don't be willingly blind..a legal concept that states that if there are things you could have known, then the law treats you as though you did know, you are still responsible.

feb 15/11 the day inang went away... 2001
five months after.. not much had changed.. i am beginning to feel more comfortable, organized and heavenly feeling good. sunday, was the day we said our prayers for ama and inang. inang.. 10 years, ama will be one year.
have sent emailed to richmond hill group but, no reply nor acknowledgements. i don't feel much, but, wondering how long this disconnections will take place. are we always so disconnected after all???
no hurt feelings, right now, i don't feel a thing..
i am preparing for sirina's arrival, .. party at lou's place. valentines day was very quiet, ordered panago pizza and chicken wings... edna was home, so it was a great night. currently enjoying a show at cbc... village on a diet.. very interesting, with peoples reactions and attitudes. i am watching more cooking shows... by the way, i will be climbing the cn tower on apr. 16.. early 6 am registration..
i have been stair climbing as part of my cardio exercise. already raised 85 $... thanks to perla, linda and linda filion.
hbfc committee for entertainment will soon be taking shape.. and the 6 graders at bloordale middle school is okay but not too eciting.
my gardening to start on may-oct. nothing much to worry warning... research about email passwords, user id\s..

today jan 24 is another cold day.. -8C. better than yesterday, -17C. however, i am home, no need to go out..no work or groceries to buy.
last jan 22, almost midnight, my sister neneng sent me an SOS email. the content shocked me to my core. lastly, money is required to solve and help with her dilemma. i was really apalled.. it s almost a habit that jerwin will be sick or accidentally stabbed twice a year. i am finding it very difficult to be giving monetary help this time. whether this is true occurence i am not sending her help this time.
my concern now, is when my sister truely is sick and will need hospitalization.. big money demand from jerwin, and he is known for being greedy, manipulative, lair and can make-up stories, just to extort money from me. oh what a mess.. i wasted so much financial support , helping them.
we celebrated linda and susie's bday. unfortunately, i didn't buy them a birthday cake. i felt this party was incomplete. edna cooked pochero, karikari, and i made veg. eggplant. the dessert was not a success, becuz, i made tiramisu and croquembouche.. today imixed the tiramisu and croque.. and coconut with jackfruit.. the syrup from the fruits, soften the croque, and the tiramisu made the mixture most tastier.
i also needed to exercise again, otherwise this 4 pds will stay in my belly.. tomorrow, more vigorous exercise... i am taking my life very
easy. grit..............

almost 4 months has gone.. christmas season was a great time. i had my family over, christmas eve, then susie eugenie, emily and friend came over for lunch and dinner, played boards games. on the 27 dave's "sequence" friend came to play this board gane, mikey, tiana lyn, sylvian arrived at lunch, and gil with his girlfriend lyn came too. so plenty of cooking, food prep and laughter. not to forget katkat and john came for a visit as well. holy wishers, shirley, sarah and zoreh. great friends.
this was also the month cora babida passed away, shocking news. very hard to accept it.
